Membership Types:
Active Member:
An Active CERT Member is a trained volunteer who is committed, prepared, and ready to serve their community before, during, and after emergencies.
Active members of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program:

Complete required FEMA training, including basic CERT courses and ongoing continuing education.

Participate regularly in meetings, drills, and exercises to maintain skills and readiness.

Respond when activated to assist professional responders during disasters and local emergencies.

Support community preparedness efforts through outreach, education, and special events.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and leadership while operating within CERT guidelines and the Incident Command System (ICS).

Maintain personal preparedness, ensuring they are ready at home so they can safely assist others when needed.
